Shushy

Terms of use

Last updated: 3 October 2026

These terms apply when you use the Shushy app, made by Butones Entertainment. By installing or using Shushy, you agree to them.

What Shushy is

Shushy plays soothing sounds for babies and can start them when it hears crying. It is a comfort tool for parents and caregivers.

What Shushy is not

Shushy is not a baby monitor, a medical device or a safety product. It does not watch over your baby, does not alert you to danger and may not notice every cry. Always follow safe-sleep guidance and supervise your baby as you normally would.

Using it safely

Keep the phone at least 2 m (about 7 ft) from the crib, out of your baby's reach, and keep the volume soft, around the level of a gentle shower. Don't place a charging phone in or near the crib.

Your recordings

Sounds you record or import stay on your phone and remain yours. Only add audio you have the right to use.

The app and its content

The Shushy name, logo, illustrations, sounds and lullabies belong to Butones Entertainment. You may use them inside the app for your own family, but not copy, resell or redistribute them.

No warranty

Shushy is provided as it is. We work to keep it reliable, but we can't promise it will always work without interruption or errors, or that it will settle every baby.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Butones Entertainment is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from using the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms as the app changes. The current version will always be on this page with its date.
